Build a settlement in an endless generated world, recruit settlers, explore dungeons and fight bosses.
Playing together
- You can play alone, in co-op, or set up a dedicated server with hundreds of other players. (Steam store page)
- Steam lists online co-op and LAN co-op. (Steam store page)
Why a server
Without a server, one player hosts the world from their own computer, so the others can only join while that player is online. A rented server keeps the world online all the time: friends join when they like, and the host's computer can be off.
